Hi everyone,

Kira here. I wanted to drop a quick update. I know my responses and updates have been slow. The truth is that I'm in the middle of an infusion program for an auto immune disorder that I was first diagnosed with when I was 13. I was allowed into an experimental treatment program that while isn't a cure, may mean I never notice a symptom or sickness related to this disease every again. What I didn't realize was how brutal the treatment was going to be. I've been told by members of the support group its kind of like people who go through chemo. They assume they can handle the short term fall out but then find out really quick they feel just as sick and miserable as everyone else that goes through it. When I'm not sleeping off the meds I'm slugging and have trouble concentrating. I assumed I could at least keep up the contest... but... I assumed wrong. So everyone please forgive me while I got on hiatus. I will try to keep posting my own pinup work from time to time if I can. And I still look forward to seeing all your beautiful and creative pinups in our Flickr group! See you all there!
